Man..Nick Wiz must be one of the hardest working "indie" beat makers out there! Dude has so much material..it's uncanny.

@ French Posse - the tracks that haven't appeared on the Cellar Sounds CDs are Shabaam Sahdeeq 'My Words' (1996), Madstyle 'Hardcore' original mix (92), Ran Reed w/ UG 'No Games' (98). Also Native Assassins 'Act Like You Know' was only previously available on a Japanese promo CD.

@ Serch - yeah it's crazy how much material he has, especially how much of it was unreleased.

The color version of the record sold out in like 12 hours - black copies are also moving quick so you may want to get onto that soon if you're thinking of picking it up. Many thanks.

Thanks for the infos Debonair! I have the 3 volumes on CDs but those unheard tracks make this release particularly amazing! So i'll buy it with the K-Otix release of Dope Folks Records on Vinylism! Keep up the great work Debonair_P!

This sounds great. I thought don's rhymes fell off hard right after diabolique and even on that album there was a noticeable difference from his 95 era shit. So i really was never fiending to hear him rhyme again. But this shit here, im diggin. The beat on soundcloud sounds like a lost 90s joint. Very pleasant surprise.

Being that it is from GRR aka debonair_p's label i can assure you to 99.9% that shit is officially being taken care of sound wise. But why not ask the man himself? He's on this board.

Yup, I hope they won't master from the Tape that was used for the 2 vinyls, because the sound quality was not that good.

That's what I fear. But even if that's the case, I'll buy the CD. Better than nothing.

Hey thanks for the interest in the Young Zee release and sorry for the slow reply, I haven't been on here so much recently. The audio is remastered off tape (just uploaded the snippets which you can listen to below.) I have investigated extensively and believe me, the reels/masters/DATs no longer exist. Thanks to those of you who support this release, much appreciated - it's being distributed by Fat Beats so you should be able to order it at your local store, or the usual online retailers should have it too.

By the way, another release I assisted with recently just came out... Featuring M.I. of Constant Deviants on vocals and SWC on production, this is a nice vinyl release. I mixed and provided the cuts on all tracks. No pre-order, shipping now.

Debonair: keep diggin beucase i know many of those cats from back in the day got their shit on disks etc wit all drums so you can easly mix to the really good sound. i talked wit Alejan from Alps around 04/05 and they got tons of their material from '90, my man T-Max just released his shit somewhere so that's the neverending story :seagravesho11a:
