The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy

Post by Mr. J Selectah »

Appart from gMc's/groups like Paris, The Coup, The Goats and such, i believe The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, never got one proper mention on T.R.O.Y. , if i'm not mistaken (which i could be)...i think they were really influential at some point of my life..."breeding ignorance and feeding radiation" [from Television, the drug of the nation]..."words can reduce a person to an object" [from "Language of violence]...this is not an appreciation thread. It's just about each ones thoughts about The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy...and by the way, what happened to Michael Franti...?
Sorry for not putting the cover, i don't know how to do it.

Yea, they were dope. I think heavily slept on since they are from the west. I just had that CD out the other day - production is better than i remembered.

Curious to see how many heads are feeling these guys.

Not feeling their music, though they get props for originality and for figuring out a way to stay recording and touring.

I seem to remember a couple of good tracks on those Spearhead albums.

I wouldnt have thought the DHH stuff has aged particularly well though.
