My vote goes to Mark 563 because he was the ONLY ONE who picked all songs that are actual Posse Cuts. Everyone else included songs that are NOT technically considered Posse Cuts. Teddy C.D. would be my runner up, but he messed up by including one song that's NOT a Posse Cut...

Huldrich Bullsh!tג€™s mix

Dj Hurricane ג€“ whats really going on ft. L.O. & MC Breed
Sway & Tech ג€“ Wake up show anthem 94 ft. Lauryn hill, Nas, Organized
Snoop Dogg & The Dogg Pound ג€“ What Would U Do

Does DJ Hurricane rap on that song??? Cuz if not, how in the world did you pick it? That Sway & Tech joint is not a posse cut, it's sorta like a compilation song. "What Would You Do" is The Dogg Pound featuring ONE emcee, Snoop Doggy Dogg.

Professorelementalג€™s Mix

4. dj pooh ft. king tee, yo yo, mc eiht, b-real, j-dee, kam, threat & ice cube ג€“ Get the fist

"Get The Fist" is NOT DJ Pooh featuring... And it's more of a compilation song.

King Tron 1′s mix

06. Masta Ace Inc. (feat. Cella Dwellas) ~ 4 Da Mind
12. Dogg Pound (feat. Lady of Rage) ~ Do What I Feel

How is The Dogg Pound featuring The Lady Of Rage a posse cut??? The song features ONE emcee!!! Same with "4 Da Mind", how is that a posse cut???

Teddy C.D. Presents T.R.O.Y. Posse Cuts (91-93)

8.) Masta Ace INC. (Masta Ace feat. Uneek, Lord Digga & Master Ice) Saturday Nite Live (1992)

PLEASE explain to me how this is a posse cut???? Masta Ace Incorporated was a GROUP back then, just like how Leaders Of The New Schol were a group or how Brand Nubian were a group. Masta Ace released ONE solo album and then released TWO albums as Masta Ace Incorporated. Come on...

Also, so many of the songs from you folks are not even titled properly. Jeez...

Despite all the negative vibes, Randy is absolutely right, you know...

From Da Odd Squad, right? The title sounds familiar...and i think nobody included The Geto boys "Bring it on" posse track, it has almost every Rap-a-lot artist in it...

@ Randywest... um, so you chose your favourite compilation based on who had administrated their compilation properly, rather than the music itself? ....yawn, that certainly takes the fun out of the whole proceedings. Life's too short. That said, I think i voted for Mark as well as his was the most splendid.
Props to everyone who made lil something. i had a ball listneing to it all this week.

Some of the hottest posse cuts out of that time frame is missing: EPMD w/ Redman & K-Solo "Headbanger", Volume 10 w/ Ganjah K, Jay Smoov & RKA "Flow Wood", Diamond D w/ Lord Finesse & Sadat X "You Can't Front", Lord Finesse w/ O.C. & KRS-One "Brainstorm", and two of the greatest of all times, Lord Finesse w/ Rhyme Inspector Percee P & A.G "Yes You May" plus Main Source w/ Nas, Joe Fatal & Akinyele "Live @ The BBQ".

I go with Mark 563 although I can't fuck with the Luniz, Nice & Smooth, and LONS cuts. Besides this, dude scored lots of hits.

Yeah, aREAL, "Came Na Gedown" would've been a nice addition, too.

he has a point on some tracks (Id say 'Get The Fist' qualifies though) but he's getting way too angry about the whole thing. Its because he's a complete dick. Im suprised he has asked that all compilations state the bit rate of the file and whether or not they were ripped from ORIGINAL CDs AND VINYL THROUGH ARNE MIXER.

anyway, voted 563.

If a certain song is NOT a posse cut, then why the hell would I choose that persons compilation as the best posse cuts compilation??? Come on man...

haha No one's angry. I just don't get how most people were not able to follow the simplest of rules. The Dogg Pound feat. Snoop is a posse cut??? REALLY??? Masta Aca Incorporated is a posse cut??? REALLY??? I mean, personally, I don't even know how the hell a song with only THREE emcees on it is considered a posse cut, but whatever. But no, none of this is because of me being a dick. Jeez!

Okay, I'll explain my reasoning for including Masta Ace Inc. - "Saturday Nite Live" on my comp, even though I guarantee you will argue and disagree, Shaun. Slaughtahouse was released under the name Masta Ace Inc., but honestly, that's more of a collective than an ACTUAL group a la Wu-Tang. Masta Ace appears on every track--the same can't be said for his homies Eyceurokk, Lord Digga and Paula Perry, etc. Of course you have Slaughtahouse--Eyce and Uneek appear on the album maybe 2-3 times, really close to the number of appearances they made on Ace's first (solo) album, if I'm not mistaken. That does NOT constitute a true group, in my opinion. Naming the group Masta Ace Inc. is almost like Raekwon having a "featuring Ghostface Killah" on Cuban Linx, it's still Rae's album, just as Slaughtahouse is still Ace's album.
Not to mention Saturday Nite Live is a classic and has a very Posse Cut vibe to it, has four emcees spitting, and fits really well with the other songs on my comp.

I think its all the question marks
, it makes you sound a bit overexcited about it all. I just don't care about the detail- I'm all about getting more music for free. Don't take it too serioudly.

Teddy, the FACT is that Masta Ace Incorporated came out as a GROUP... It doesn't matter if you think of it differently. It's all about how something was officially released. It would be one thing if the album was "Masta Ace featuring blah blah", but it wasn't that. Come on. It's the same shit as the Wu-Tang Clan. You can't bend the rules to fit your wants and needs bro...

Still though, Shaun (Randy, or whatever name you go by) - that doesn't change the fact that you are mentally ill so what's the problem? Let the people use whatever they fucking feel. It's a fucking posse track (or not), get the fuck over it already.

so wicked, what you're saying is that when it comes to music, something that is made to be listened to, the only FACTS that MATTER are how it was written down in the liner notes.
so then the subject of ghost writers and ghost producers is all heresay too i guess.

Randy, Wicked, banned user, future banned user, whatever, you please yourself to school peeps in here and act smart noticing Masta ace Incorporated is a group, and is not a posse cut, but you have no problem with a DITC track ?

Chill, maybe listening to original vinyls of those posse cuts.

Mark, and all the contributors, thanks.

 Jesus that Wicked herb is STILL on the same bullshit?! unbelievable.

People like you ruin Hip Hop for the rest of us, so take your records (I DJ out and play records but you don't see me pulling my own dick constantly about it) and shove them where the sun doesn't shine... make your own forum, because you just ruin this one and many others (they hate you on UGHH)

Wake up Shaun...I mean really.

Masta Ace INC was Masta Ace, Lord Digga, Paula Perry and Leschea so having Uneek and Master Ice and technically Lord Digga was The Bluez Brothers so it DOES make it a posse cut.
