Nice nice Nes, top man. Extra special louder than a bus terminal shouts to Eclipse, these are some big boss playas files, and tracked up too? Lotta care an attention, s'all appreciated
Oh, and Nes, re that 50 Cent freestyle jam, was he listenin to the same beat I was ? Was he listenin to anything other than himself? He sounds even more a caricature these days, but an even better Rapper. I aint afraid to say it, I like 50 sometimes. Ta...
Big thanks to both of you

^I remember not being very impressed with that 50 Cent freestyle when I taped it, if you told me dude would have gone on to be a household name I wouldn't have believed it. I'm not his biggest fan, but he definitely had perseverance. I would have thought Truck Turner would have been more likely to blow up, especially after getting on a track with Kool G Rap, KRS and Big Pun. That's all Eclipse to thank for the show.

Yeah, tbh, I was never a 50 fan at all. But in the last few years, I've grown to enjoy joints off his mixtapes here and there and just the caricature(like Craig said) of himself he seems to play. He's a funny muthafucka, ya can't front. He also tries to make at least some kind of a difference(however minute it may be, at least its something) in our failing country, which is more than i can say for the rich rappers(or wannabes) rappin for other rich people. CEO rap, yo.
In summation, I do like 50 now, it's hard to not like this guy nowadays, imo.
And yeh, these files is proper, 320 everything. Big big ups to you guys and tanks again!
I've listened live the last 10 years but forget if it's march or april.

15th anniversary show TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just happened to see this on DJ Eclipse TWITTER page a few minutes ago..
Usually he or someone from the show will post news about each years anniversary show but i haven't seen any lineup's for tonight's show other than DJ Q-Bert announcing on Eclipse TWITTER page that he'll be on.
IRISH_CRAIG wrote:I completely missed this collection of Halftime freestyles and bits, can someone PLEASE hook me up ? Both links are deaded, thanks in advance.
the show was incredible, Eclipse played a ton of joints I never heard before. It's crazy how much material these guys had. All of them were in the studio too talking about the group. I tuned out around 2am but they were still freestyling when I turned it off. Hoping mp3s surface
evil dee promo
dj enuff freestyle
essence - back to the essence demo
a butta - why it gotta be like that demo (not sure - same lyrics as freestyle with black thought - ask dj eclipse about it - maybe blend action) best one!
The session with Jigga could be a longer one than previously available. Didn't care for freestyles over Busta Rhymes and BIG L beats.
The rest that was played til the IV sections with NE and Charlemange plus Scram Jones is known.
