Great idea, I need to do something similar. These days I just skip to a verse I like, then switch to a next song.

What pisses me off the most is when an artist has a crazy verse on his own track and gives the rest of the time to some shitty guest spots. It drives me mad, I want 2 more verses in that situation.
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

lets go...the hardest part of doing this is recall...i know there are dozens of verses im not thinking of that need to be added but that i can pull off my dome

while im not against the classics im more looking for lesser known or stuff we all might not think about right away...like i dont need rakim move the crowd but rakim lyrics fury should be in this

OK, I need to re-install some software and I'll get on it. Thanks for the idea.

Cool concept!

If I may suggest:

Willie D on "Mind Playin Trick On Me" - a STELLAR verse that gets over looked by Scarface's incredible performance. Isolated, I think it would make for a great addition.

That was one of his best verses, definitely. I don't think I have that anymore, thanks for the reminder.

Bun B on "murder" from their Ridin dirty album. Pimp C's verse goes hard too but Bun's takes it. Bun-B (especially his earlier stuff) is such an underrated emcee.

His ending the song and especially the Kuwait mix is a highlight of his career. I might even like that verse more than his T.O.N.Y verse.

Bumpy Knuckle's "Part Of My Life" (last verse)
KRS-One "Build & Destroy" (any verse)

You're definitely in the right place for comps of great verses, I like how TROY puts together ones based on a theme as well as good Hip Hop in general.

also try songs that might inspire your everyday life in addition to having great standout verses, that usually works for me:

Q-Tip on Tiger's "Who Planned It?" and "Midnight"
Kool G Rap - "Blowin' Up In The World"
C.L. Smooth on "Ghettos Of The Mind", one of my favorite depictions of the ghetto in Hip Hop lyrics
Audio: Organized Konfusion Interviewed by DJ Riz & WildMan Steve, 1994 http://bit.ly/stress1994" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Tame One on 'Who's This?' (his first part)
Prince Po on 'Audience Pleasers' (all parts)
Inspectah Deck on 'Wu-tang Clan ain't nothing..' and ' Above The Clouds'

...just a small choice
