step one posted some good bootleg blends and remixes.

The Chong Wizard stuff is good, but where are you supposed to buy them?
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

I remember Evil Dee's blends really stood out to me when listening to his Monday Night Flavor Mix on Hot 97 in the mid 90's. He's got old shows archived on his podomatic account.

Another I really remember is DJ Chill Will From The Eastside, when he blended Biz Markie's Somethin For The Radio beat with the acapella of Joy by Rob Base & EZ Rock for his 1992 Masterpiece Part 5 mixtape.

That Silva Sirfa one I posted is dope if you like R&B from that era.
I'd suggest looking for tapes by Dirty Harry and DJ Vlad (I've only got one Vlad CD on my site).

I posted this up on VA a while back

'Sup VA!

I made a mix using beats from my MPC2k (direct frm the stereo outputs - no fx , compression , eq - just raw!) and threw / scratched accapellas over the top. All recorded onto cassette 4track (tascam 414mk2)

I fucked up some of the fades and stuff - so its very rough round the edges.

Hope u enjoy!

I've been meaning to do a whole mixtape of mine but never got round to it. Might just stick em all in zip file at some point. I've got quite a few I've never uploaded.

tracklist can be seen on Kevin Nottingham's blog here:

Scientifik - Lawtown (Spinna Blend)

Blend I did about a year ago that was meant for my next mixtape but decided not to include.

Really like this Spinna beat which in my opinion was "wasted" on MC Eiht's - Thuggin it up.
