So many.

But the exceptions were dope. My intentions of starting this thread was to see if anyone's holding anything like more KP demos, Tru Master produced demos, DSA demos, Masta Killa demos, etc etc or tracks that didn't make albums cause of shitty A&Rs and so forth.
There was so many dope releases under the Wu umbrella that there HAS to be TONS of dope unreleased demo versions and shit like that.

IMO many of the the offshoots are incredible though. I get your intent and clearly that's what we all want to hear most.

But there's plenty of good material by the "2nd and 3rd tier" members. I think we should model this after the Project Blowed thread and just go crazy with it, the main difference being that more of the Blowdian stuff is out of print, so we should be more careful not to post stuff that is still officially available for sale. There's still plenty worth hearing.

This otherwise unreleased song (along with tons of other incredible material by the 9 generals) is available by following the the Wu-Tang corp link claa7 posted on page 1.

http://www.wutang-corp.com/shared/mp3/g ... ngcorp.mp3

RZA re-interpolated this riff (with the aid of Geore Harrison's son I think) on the 8 Diagrams song "The Heart Gently Weeps."

Ghost rips it in both, but I prefer the original to this:

<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/u72nMAIJkno?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/u72nMAIJkno?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Sigma wrote:I've been trying to find a song that was posted on here a few years ago. It was by a Wu-affiliate (a solo MC) and someone posted a link to it on the artist's MySpace page.

All I remember about the song is that it was slow, sounded like it could have been produced by RZA (but wasn't) and during each chorus the MC mentioned the word "Mephistopheles" a couple of times. <--If you know it, that last piece of info will enable you to ID it for me, cos you'll know exactly what I mean.
I suspect you're talking about this:

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0uMRDE4pyro?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0uMRDE4pyro?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Holocaust aka Warcloud is one of the most widely respected Wu-ffiliates, especially among European fans. A one-time affiliate of the Black Knights, he first appeared on Bobby Digital In Stereo on the song "Holocaust" and dropped two albums under the name Warcloud -- Smugglin Booz in the Graveyard and Nightmares That Surface from Shallow Sleep -- before returning to the Holocaust moniker for Blue Sky Black Death Presents the Holocaust, on which the song above appears. After that, he kind of faded into obscurity, popping up at random to work with Bomshot from Boston to do a project called War Ghosts and with some other west coast cats called American Poets.

I highly recommend the BSBD Presents album to those who don't have it. If you like his style on there, you'll dig the Warcloud albums too, which have a more traditional sound production-wise.

I haven't heard this version of Dirty & Stinkin since Stretch & Bob played it on Hot 97 in the mid 90's:

Did anyone post that remastered version of all there demo's that came out a few years ago?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN8_e45AKAM

that track is the best of really old wu shit i've ever heard. It's such a prototype track for everything that came after it. Even from back here, Rza had the best ear for when to drop the drums out in hip hop history. And those extra hats over the second part of the chorus, what a fucking sicko.

I just love that U God verse too. Even back then he just says things in ways that no one else would ever say.

"slippery quick like a slippery eel" <--- only u god would ever say that, and that's why it's ill

I love the part in the last verse where Deck thinks the Great Gatsby was a Magician. Makes me laugh cuz i used to think the exact same thing.

Classic in every sense.

that Ghostface solo version of My Guitar was on an AV8 12" with 'Pretty Tony Shoulda Got His Dough' (the De La dis) on the other side.

http://www.discogs.com/Theodore-Unit-My ... ase/307668

As for the Dirty N Stinkin, I've got a 12" of it somewhere so I'll have to check what version it is.

I found this one on discogs but mine looks different (it has a Wu Tang logo on the label - looks pretty official)

Wasn't it also on one of those Theodore Unit or Ghost+Trife albums? I could swear I was surprised to notice a real release somewhere on CD.

Nice comp, thanks for taking the time to put it together. And there's always a point where you have to draw the line, but I feel like you missed out by not having this on it:

Nigo feat. GZA & Prodigal Son - K.F.F. 2000

The album version is the best, but I included the other 2 remixes as well.

01 Nigo feat. GZA & Prodigal Son - K.F.F. 2000 (Album Version)
02 Nigo feat. GZA & Prodigal Son - K.F.F. 2000 (Son Bow Remix)
03 Nigo feat. GZA & Prodigal Son - K.F.F. 2000 (Force Of Nature Remix)

Dirt_Dawg: interesting thing about that Nigo joint is that that has GZA verse that is featured there are apparantly the weakest Genius verse ever released according to himself. but you're often your biggest critic, but he said that since it was a Japanese feature he thought it would never spread around the world so he really didn't put much time into it and then it was spreading over the net he swore he would never do that again hahah.

i'll try to find that interview for you later... the song is actual dope, Nigo is a sick producer - the shit he did with Rakim was mindblowing!!

I thought someone might want this, it was posted here before a couple of times, I don't think it's in this thread. It's Wu Underground Volume 1, I want to give credit to the original uploaders but I really can't remember who they were, it mentions masternew_york in the nfo file.

This here is a fan-made "Best of" compilation featuring Ghostface associate and Theodore Unit member Solomon Childs, and American Cream Team member Superb, who was featured on Supreme Clientele and has since gained infamy for claiming he was locked in a room and forced to write that entire album and for being convicted of statutory rape.

I can't remember for sure where I got this comp, but I want to say it's from when I was on Soulseek. There was a track order at one point, but that's long gone by now. Regardless of these annoyances, there is some damn good shit on here.

I don't believe Nitty Gritty had anything to do with Wu, they were down with Nipskcab Fam.(dj backspin)

Anyways, thanks for the recent comps. The last 2 keep going in circles on me and won't dl, but i'll try tomorrow.

Any good 9th Prince comps out there?

on Method Man's "Tical 2000: Judgement Day" a song credited to True Master titled "Party Crasher" was included. this was in fact an uncredited RZA remix of the song but on the instrumental version of the LP, the original True Master instrumental for "Party Crasher" was included. Meth was supposed to replace the TM "P.C." once the first pressing had sold out but that never happened.

since the acapella was never released, a blend wasn't possible. enter claaa7 and my man Rusty Wu Chain (:P). the latter has a secret how to rip just the acapella from vocal tracks, don't ask me how but i send him the original instrumental and convinced him to give it a try. so here goes, real exclusive shit:

METHOD MAN - "PARTY CRASHER" [ORIGINAL TRUE MASTER MIX]

another blend that appeared a while back is the classic 2Pac's "Got My Mind Up" featuring Method Man, Redman and Tha Dogg Pound. the original version didn't have 'Pac but also had Lady Of Rage and Inspectah Deck. at least they kept the ad-lib intro to Deck's verse which made it possible for hardcore Wu-Tang fanatics to find the right verse (he spat it on a dope joint called "Common Denominator"). you can hear that the quality of the vocals is lower during INS verse but it's definitely the verse that was originally there.

2Pac / Dogg Pound / Red N Meth / Rebel INS - "Got My Mind Made Up" (OG Mix)

All of his stuff is for sale via the Fame Labs website. I posted 2 loosies on page 1.

Here's a sampler for the mixtape God in the Ghetto, which I consider his best release: http://www.famelabsmusic.com/media/Fame ... tto_v1.zip If I remember correctly this includes like 8 of the 16 tracks.

Versive, s'ok. I get confused some times myself. Glad to help.

I wish I still had the tracklist for that thing. I remember it sounding really tight when it was all sequenced, but I couldn't figure out how it fit back together. Regardless, there are a bunch of dope cuts on there, which is why I've kept it since I got it in like 04.

Does anyone have the full acapella of 'Da Mystery of Chessboxin' from the 12" of the same name? I can't find that anywhere. Discogs has a listing of it with a time stamp that indicates the full acapella.

Yeah, if it weren't for the intro where explains he's owed for his feature on Grind Date, you wouldn't even know he was dissing them.

I've also always thought there were some subliminal Wu disses on Stakes is High. "The only Italians you know is iceys" and such, but that's one of my favorite albums of all time so I never really sweat it.
