Both Sides Of The Brain Advance Promo

Post by ChaMerZ »

I got my hands on an advance promo of both sides of the brain. The tracklist is basically the same except it's got two extra tracks (sh*t talkers & followers). Also, pet peeves isn't called pet peeves in this version, it's called fair weather associates. I'm not really familiar with del's work so can anybody tell me whether or not these tracks snuck their way into a different del release? (like a compilation or something).

Also what version of the official release has these bonus tracks? Discogs says that the european version and the us version are the same.

Pet Peeves is a three part song.

1) Fair Weather Associates
2) Shit Talkers
3) Followers

7 minutes is too long when I'm not in the mood to listen to a song that's 7 minutes long. If I'm listening in a half assed kind of way, I won't care too much to skip, but if I'm actually actively listening I'lll skip. Pet Peeves doesn't really qualify because its 3 songs in one though.

The only long song that I can remember annoying me in recent memory is that odd future posse cut. that shit dragged on for waay too long.

could you upload the two extra tracks from this please?
also some of my favorite songs are real long like that... and especially since i'm a jazzhead, where anything under 9 minutes is short haha.

been on an isaac hayes kick so I agree

didn't we determine the difference is just that pet peeves is cut into 3 separate tracks?

The two extra tracks aren't really extras. In the promo pet peeves is split into three separate tracks.

Not that familiar with Del's material so it confused me a bit, until I posted here & someone ^ revealed to me that pet peeves is actually three songs in one.

False alarm lol.

yeah Hayes had a lot of fantastic material.. R.I.P.
haha you're right, i missed that part.

speaking on Del though, did y'all hear the new Deltron 3030 track?? we've heard rumours about this project for years, but i believe this song is the real first leaked thing which makes one believe it actually is happening. and it's sounded really good to my ears though. it is on this mixtape:
