i THINK someone was talking about in the stretch and bob thread. it had something to do with a chicago based magazine that went defunct after two issues. this looks very promising as it is very early cage material.

went back and looked up the magazine aspect: found here http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... e#p2533024

i'm assuming this cd originated from this blog that has a lot of other tasty looking treats
http://www.72826productions.blogspot.com/

"A compilation of classic early demos by Mudbones (a rap group from the early - mid 90s) which featured (among other members) rapper Keige (who is now known most commonly as Cage).

Limited edition of 25. Six tracks of badly recorded raw as fuck, sick hiphop.
Professionally pressed CDr's come packaged in a double sided fold-over insert (which contains an early Keige interview reprinted from an obscure 90s magazine called Caught In The Middle, Vol.1, Issue #2) which come in clear poly slip cases.

(Note: this is a bootleg compilation)
Available from DISCOGS."

wow, i believe this is some sought after shit. Early cage is always worth a listen, imo. All i ever really had from SnB was that long freestyle type promo with Godfather Don, which im betting that "Hooker Named Janet" is the one of the verses from it. We had Crazy Man Head and i think Lost Head Case in the SnB thread.
Like to hear the others.
Turbobit is not available in the US could someone up on mediafire or something please?

Good shit! I just ordered the CD. Thing is, at first when I put "United States" for my location, it said my shipping cost was $3.50, which is normal for shipping a CD, but then on PayPal it said shipping was $8. The fuck is that?! How much did you pay for shipping, Verge? It pisses me off when people charge too much for shipping. Sometimes people try to make it seem like the CD is cheap cuz they know they're gonna rape you on the shipping charge.

But yo, isn't it a shame what happened to Cage? He became some emo lookin fgt who makes GARBAGE music these days. I mean, he's been makin garbage for a while now, but still. *shaking head*

wicked, I don't remember how much the shipping was but a similar thing happened to me. It's a glitch of some sort on the website, just send the guy an email and he'll probably straighten it out for ya.
