this one should be a landslide. i never heard the other 2 albums but im pretty confident nothing on them will get my vote over Punks Jump Up.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE BML, but I happen to be one of the select that think IGWT might just be the best Nubian album on certain days. It isn't, but ooooooh it close for me the moment that bassline kicks in for Allah U Akbar.

Brand Nubian.

The Above the Law album is very slept-on, though.

I shed a tear thinking how those YBT beats should have been given to LONS or KMD.

Black Mafia Life is criminally under-appreciated in my opinion. I'll stick my neck out and say that it's one of the best 1990s West Coast albums ever. I would love to give BML my vote but In God... was just such a killer album. I loved how militant it was compared to One For All. Video version or Diamond D remix of Punks instead of the slightly dull album version would have been icing on the cake.

Yeah I pretty much knew how this was gonna turn out but obviously not all the match ups I post are ones that are gonna be super close. Some of them I just like to see the breakdown of the results and hear people's opinions. A lot of it is just to promote T.R.O.Y. era music discussion and increased awareness as to what dropped when.

Here's a rough percentage breakdown after the seventh month:

Fugees / Skillz – 56/44
The Coup / Pete Rock – 22/78
Biz / Ice-T – 50/50
Above the Law / Brand Nubian / Young Black Teenagers – 24/72/4
