So I was going to make some requests but I figured I'd just start a thread instead. Can we try to compile here everything these guys have put out? Most the stuff I've heard from I-Power has been dark and delicious and I want more of it. I see on discogs that "77 Soundz" has put out a bunch of their stuff on wax over the past few years.

So here's what I have in a rar file:

In this file are, courtesy of the crates of ag blog: 1. A rip of the 1997 Under Da Sun 12" containing tracks Under Da Sun, The Madness, The Breakthrough (no instrumentals). Was this also a re-release? 2. A rip of the 1 Life 2 Live 12", which looks like it was originally produced in 1996 but re-released in 2009, containing tracks 1 Life 2 Live, Seen a Vision Part 2, Play Da Back 96 (no instrumentals). 3. A compilation I guess Akutt put together titled "I-Power Rare and Unreleased 1994-1998", containing these tracks:

Does anyone have rips of these releases, or any of the tracks on them? Or anything else not accounted for on discogs?

On the "Live at WBAU NY 1995" segment they play two tracks which must be from 95, one the dude calls I've Seen a Vision and the other Coming By Night (?). I don't see this release on discogs, but I'd love to get a good rip of it. Anyone know anything about it? Both tracks are very dope if you ask me. Here's what I'm talking about:

When we got back to my car someone had broken into it and stole our bags. In my bag, I had all our DAT tapes and like 300 MPC disk and 20 rare records. The DAT tapes were our masters and they contained all our material from 1995 through 1997. We took a major hit. One that I still can't comprehend. I have no idea who stole our stuff but it really set us back. I mean to us that bag was priceless. Years worth of music were in that bag. Some fool probably stole it looking for money or something. They probably threw it away. I searched all the streets of the lower east side that morning. I didn't even go home that day. I remember going to flea markets in the city looking for those master DATs or MPC Disk. However, no luck.

Shit is sad.

And then of course we still have "Seen a Vision" and "Coming By Night" to account for. Ndkone has put up "Coming By Night" from the WBAU radio recording:

I Power is dope, i like quite a few of their tracks. I don't remember hearing that story about the missing bag of DATS and mpc discs, that's terrible, i feel for them for that.

The Under The Sun 12" has not been re-released and the 1 Life 2 Live 12" was unreleased 1996 stuff that was pressed in 2009, not a re-release. I hope Mo Funk does put more of that unreleased stuff out, i believe there's a bunch on Ndkone's channel that he probably gets from Mo Funk that's not up for download anywhere.

I think Mo Funk was planning to release another record of mid-90's material, it's been a while since he mentioned it though.

Weren't there a couple of I-Power CD's with later music they did? I didn't hear good things about them but would interested to check them out.

I bought a few CDs from him before he started to release those 12"; most of it is now available on wax but there are still some nice cuts that is not on the net.

Quality is pretty poor as many are tape rips.

Mo asked for these not to be shared so I guess I should honor that.
