Yeah i always thought it was Reign too. But l guess its short for his name RayMond.
The digitals for this are on the way and CDs are planned maybe after Part 2. Been having to really focus on the vinyl aspect due to the super fast moving current nature of the limited game.

Verge, CDs would be very much appreciated!!
I never got it - with all these limited vinyls being released by all these labels - I'm sure there is demand on 100+ CD copies as well for each!
I really hope it's not "CDs maybe"...
Yo, what about that Gee-Rock release you had and also others you have put out ?
I mean Gee Rock would be perfect to get (at least limited) CD edition - I remember you once said that CDs were something you had in mind ?

me neither. almost like a kind of underground elitism to only put this stuff out on vinyl. there's a few I'd be willing to shell out for on Cd/mp3, Emskee 'complex extras' for e.g. (I found a vinyl rip but that's not the point). And I own a turntable, it's not about that either... anyway, not to derail the thread.

In the words of Mr. Rob Odindo, Props! Great work Verge, the clips sound amazing. I'm really excited to see how this archive series unfolds.

I agree about CDs... i cop a lot of limited vinyl but CDs for some of these releases would be great - especially where shelved albums have been released in separate EPs. I'm thinking about the Omniscence Raw Factor EPs and the Young Zee Musical Meltdown on Dope Folks... and if there are a few volumes of the Adagio stuff, combining them into one CD release, kinda like how the original release was intended to be, would be dope.
Looking forward to getting this record in the mail...good work, Verge.

COOL - I think it is time for a Parallax release too. (J-Treds, Eightrack and DJ Scrappy - to my understanding) If not and I'm mistaken - J-Treds stuff. He must have done a bunch of music between 1993 and 1998. That 1994 cipher is crazy.
Try to reach him via Breeze or Bobbito.

since normal cd's can only hold files with a resolution of 16bit/44.1khz, vinyl would be the better choice soundquality wise (if the original files are in a higher bitrate than 16bit/44.1khz), because they are virtually unrestricted

Gee Rock himself has made statements that confirms that there will be a CD version and will feature the entirety of the album (intro, skits, interludes, the 2 missing tracks).

We're still talking about all of that, it's possible. If we do one CD and people support, then we would look at doing more, maybe even all the instrumentals. But it depends on if people cop because almost nobody bought the digitals so far but the vinyl's selling well. Part 2 is gonna be here before summer and so far the joints are all fuckin ill, not exaggerating at all.
First small batch of part one started shipping today, mad orders to go.

I'd buy an Adigio CD. I just hope that you get a lot of joints on it and sequence it nice. haha
Can't wait to get the vinyl in the mail...

yes sir, no doubt. I'll always leave a joint or two vinyl only too because the vinyl heads are the reason l could do this.

If it was a real definitive collection - a lot of tracks - kinda like some of the No-Sleep releases, I don't doubt that they would sell EASILY and probably for a reasonably high price. All those Cellar Sounds, O.C., Ran Reed, Godfather Don, etc collections seemed to go pretty quickly.

Can't wait as i do not like Pt. 1 at all only one track " Music" the rest are too chewy. Hopefully Pt. 2 gonna be more focused in mid 90's rather early 2000.
