Stumbled across this while searching for some MC Eiht CD`s. I know that plenty of albums & singles on eBay tend to be inflated price wise, but this guy`s out to lunch....LoL, how do these people come up with these prices anyway???

apparently there's retards that pay high prices for cd singles when there's perfectly better quality vinyl equivalents for like a few dollars. it's not exclusive to these cd singles and i don't know what the going rates are or if they have vinyl singles for some of these releases. but just in general, i've noticed that most of the time there are vinyl singles of the same single usually available. and a lot of the time, they have the same tracks and then some. i checked out the mc eiht single you listed and although you can't buy the vinyl single for a few bucks, you should be able to find it for like 20-25 bucks with twice as many songs (includes all three songs that the cd single holds). while the cd single does fetch a ton of money on discogs so i wouldn't be surprised if most of those prices for the others he has listed is in line with the going rates on discogs and ebay.

i blame the borks cuz in the US most of those would be found in a $1 bin in most music stores (that still exist).

Yeah $20-25 isn`t too bad, especially if you get more songs. It`s funny to me though that someone can even think that $500 for a CD single is OK. I mean it`s not even sealed & the CD jewel case has a crack on the back.....LoL, near mint though. For that price it should at least be a sealed test pressing that Eiht himself signed on the wrapping.....LoL, it`s not just the CD singles though `cuz if you look at some of Master P`s albums, even some of his old label`s albums go for retarded prices on eBay which doesn`t make sense to me `cuz they ain`t really all that rare....LoL, makes me think of sellin` off all my old No Limit releases on there

The label that did release this CD also put out another one called "South Central Funktion" that never appeared nowhere else before, which is a collection of rare tracks produced by Battlecat. Apparently, Battlecat worked directly with them, giving access to his Masters, so I don't think he's the crazy eBay bidder mentioned above. ;)

^^ everything HolyGrails have listed is ridiculously overpriced. Even a standard £5 record will be about £15 most of the time.
I'd be amazed if they ever actually sell anything.

Sometimes I think these guys post up the stuff with retarded prices because they don`t ever actually have the intention to sell it. It`s more of an ego stroker, like "look at what I have".....LoL, it`s still funny to me
