this sounds fantastic guys!! much props for all the hard work that obviously went into this, Organized F.A.M. is such an underrated group but then again they never released much so this is a very welcome release... Lounge Lo is Cappadonna's brother, but was Shawn Wigs really part of the group?

Yes, it's Lounger Loe, Crunch Low, Kwue Molly, and Shawn Wigz.

I'll try to update with more info.

The logo on the record, I can't post it from my phone, is not an OTF like many assumed, it's actually a TA. For The Authority, a graf crew Kwue was in that is the origin of Othorized.

Thanks for the props fellas, lots of time and work went into this one. Pictures Of Life was always a favorite of mine and it really sounds great here.

There was no GRR record to combine with. But I'm sure that tradition will continue in August. Nothing bumping for July cause we putting lots of work in all the releases.

Hey Wicked, I was overseas for 6 weeks on vacation, hence why no release from me this time around. But we will be aiming to continue combining releases in the future to help people combine the postage costs. Thanks!

No bandcamp? Why not do everything bandcamp too? That is non limited extra money for the artists and your operation.

Yo, don't wanna state income but the digital sales have been horrible. I mean, really fkn bad. I been debating whether it's even worth it at all honestly.
But if we do throw this one up there of course I'll update here right away.

Quick question: How many people will buy digital of HJ if FTD has shared it already for free? you going to do some more research....

well, both you guys are right. Most people won't buy since it gets ripped and shared pretty quick. But to me it's worth copping for $5 because it is being mastered separately for digital and vinyl so it should sound a lot better than a vinyl rip. I know when dopefolks was selling their digitals i think for $8 an ep i was buying them every time. I thought everyone was, lol, now i see why they stopped.

Figured since money was paid to have this mastered for digital and a couple of people did ask about it, might as well throw it up there. Here ya go:

To me it's all about the FLAC's. Setting the download to FLAC and burning a CD-R afterwards makes for an (almost) official CD EP, in terms of sound quality. Sometimes i feel it's worth it even if i've already copped the vinyl, as a backup in case something bad happens to the record and it's a ltd / expensive item.

Stop Snitching! shit supposed to be private anyways...even Lord Finesse is sending around files. LOL

And again the rip doesn't compare to the original Vinyl or the digital bandcamp master.

I purchased the digital of this release. FTD does a great job on their vinyl rips, but nothing can beat a digital rip from the maters.

i'm really low on cash right now so there's no chance that i could buy the vinyl right now but i'm very thankful you offered a HQ download for a relatively cheap price Verge... i download a lot for free, i'm not gonna front, but a lot of shit like this being ripped when an official HQ download is available for a good price straight from the source. SMH

thanks to everyone involved in this again for the great work, Othorized FAM was a fantastic group - which is why it took me by suprise that Shawn Wiggz was actually a member LOL :P

Ok do you think you can feel the "BIG" difference from the rip from the masters unless you are not listening them in very HI FI professional super doper sound quality system? - not many people give a shit about that. There probably will be no more than 5-10 ppl who buy digi and does this worth? No beef here just saying in my opinion should not be any digits only record itself.

Whatever Verge got my point.

^You should stop making points, because they are not on point.

Playing a vinyl rip to mp3 vs digital master in mp3 or flac. e.g. Mugshots Demo *** rip - crackle at the end of second 3 - crackles / sounds before +30 secs
Digital bandcamp - NOTHING , also louder and clearer - mastered for digital

I can experience the difference on my ghetto Logitech z523.
If you ears are fucked because you play your music too loud all the time it is not my fault.

end of discussion AAAAANNNNNDDDDDDD every limited label should sell on bandcamp with particular digital masters or at least include a free MP3 DL with the Wax. You can't really take your turntable for a walk outside. Of course it is the classic format for "Ghetto Gold".

Reality to the Limited game: A lot of stuff is not worth the pricing. Especially Ill Adrenaline and SOS stuff. I d spend 50 bucks each for World Renown and Kamakaze LP's in double vinyl edition though. Another shame is that 500 to 1000 press runs seem to be impossible. So basically it is milking some big Hip-Hop nerds. The rest is cool with Rick Ross, Action Bronson and Riff Raff. Then you have some assface og producers that couldn't make dope music nowadays even if their life was on it like:"Nooooooooooooooooo...I want my old music to be in the past etc...., BUT YET THEY FAILED TO ADAPT IN PROPER FORM AND FASHION." There is german dudes shitting on all the US traditional Hip-Hop.

http://www.hhv.de/shop/en/item/hiob-and ... tzt-347039

Then you got people like Sergent Records aswell. Couldn't try to connect one of the Beatnuts for a proper version of a Triflicts track. Amateurs charging a ridiculous amount...

:winter:

keep buying overpriced random rap crap and shut the fuck up...fact is your statement on vinyl rip vs digital master is not credible...and I don't care about 40 year old douches who probably go to concerts to take pictures and get stuff signed...talking about what they got in their secret stash...

Got my copy in the mail yesterday (Thursday), thanks Verge.

Also, a Master-to-Digital is what shit should be. LOL at anyone thinkin a Vinyl-to-Digital rip is the same. smh
