dear Mods:
I know this is kind of off-topic but the guys who probably know this most likely frequent this forum so I hope if you don't mind keeping this thread in here for a couple of days.
I will be in Paris next week and would like to do some digging, can anyone help me out where I can find records, Hip Hop, African stuff, french vintgage rock/jazz/funk/prog, and Jazz, Funk.
would be highly appreciated

Re: Records in Paris
This is a pretty comprehensive (and up-to-date) list: http://www.discogs.com/groups/topic/97484" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But I'm sure there are some French cats here who will be able to help you with personal recommendations.
