I think i have that 12" and the remix is pretty underwheling since i expected some G-Funk i will look and if i have it i will record it for you

And here is the 1995 Source interview (July) and review (August.) This is the only album I can think of that they reviewed twice (ignoring all the stuff they went back and gave 5 mics to in the 2000's.)

Does anyone know where that info that Pete Rock is the one to do that Renee remix? I've never seen it anywhere except for it just being labeled that way on youtube and filesharing sites. I love that version but it doesn't sound very Pete Rock to me.

I'm not sure man, though I agree it doesn't sound like a typical PR production (and the singing on the hook doesn't do it for me.)

only version i have of that is on doo wop 95 live. was that the name of the track? i know sometimes when dj's would get advance white labels/promos/dub plates the name of the song would later be changed.
