Long story short... I used Download Helper to grab the video, VLC to export the .flv file, switched it from mono to stereo and normalized the 2 hour set.

I didn't see any reason to re-encode it to 320.

Nah, google for online streamrippers. Offliberty done did it before for me...it seperates audio and video stream automatically, so you can just dl the mp3. So far the Sauce Money show and maybe the one Wicked used to hook us up is cool.
The remix shit he plays is real amateur with some well know samples flipped weaker plus softer drums or trash quality.
I mean just check whenever a Pete Rock beat comes on. Like the beat they blended the Nas Street Dreams RMX vocals over came on in the latest. Another dimension...Shit Marley played so far sounds like some late 90ies crap for the most part.
Maybe he should invite DJ Hot Day. Them Dream Team tapes might hold some ill shit. Like there is one where Hostyle and Killa Sha go in on a Godfather Don beat of Diabolique if i remember correctly. The one that reminds of the professor in Akira looking at the sphere gauge.
