song id's from 1995 and 1996..

Post by william g. »

Lat night i was listening to a "Future Flavas" show from 1996 and Marley Marl said one of the tracks Pete Rock played was by Rugged ID..I can't find anything online about him.

Also, listening to a Stretch & Bobbito show from july 1995 one of the joints played early in the show was a rapper that called himself,i believe Little June, and he mentions money, and money mission a couple times..Again,i could find nothing,if that's his name, online.

Thank's for any help with these 2 tracks!!!!

Chances are higher if you upload at least a sample of them.
I can tell the 2nd one is "Life" by Lil' Joon though.

Yeah, i found the tracklisting for that July 95' Stretch & Bobbito show, and yeah,it's Lil Joon's "Life".

Never heard of Rugged ID..

I'm actually surprised after 70 views nobody but 1 person knew that Lil Joon joint,LOL..

damn, the youtube audio is much slower than the one on the Stretch & Bob show..i like how Stretch sped it up some,it sounds even better than the og way.

Also,i did some research, and the 12" of the Lil Joon vinyl goes anywhere from 250-400 bucks.

i dont know for sure, didnt listen, but i know sometimes tapes would sound a little faster than the source, also sometimes tape decks weren't properly calibrated and sounded sped up, so might not be sped up by the dj. Or maybe it is, never know
