Not sure if anyone on here is old enough to remember him but veteran UK hip hop DJ Mike Allen has passed away .
Before Westwood he was mainly responsible for introducing thousands of kids to hip hop in the mid 80s with has show on Capital radio which was networked across the country.

i found out about jehst in 2002 from a comp from there i found out about all the lowlife records crew that braintax ran. been a fan ever since. loved that the god j-zone did that "staircase to stage" jawn with him. skinnyman, harry love, task force...

kashmere is one of my favorite emcees, his project STRANGE U with dr.zygote is bonkers!

lee scott & dirty dike are great duo but anything blah records, high focus & ynr records are all dope. lee scott is the uk's hidden weapon IMO.

the nextmen were a DOPE producer duo who dropped that jawn on zoo york "est" in 2000 in the philly section with south philly emcee soulson.

rhyme asylum is dope too. roots to 1984 & member the phantom dropped a dope album in 1998 that ft. philly emcee loose leaf. rare

s/o to tony d (don't flop), stig from the dump, respek ba, lunar c, jazz t, scifi stu, soweto kinch, verb t

lewis parker is a LEGEND. was blessed to rock a show with him in broolyn in 2011 with nick wiz, dj doom, i-cue, j-force 7 more.
