After listening to Prince Paul on the most recent episode of The Combat Jack Show, I needed to listen to the Gravediggaz debut album from ‘94 again. I’ve always loved this album since the day it dropped. It’s a MASTERPIECE thanks to the genius of Prince Paul! Anyways, I spent the last couple of hours uploading my original cd along with my original cd singles (for the b-side non-album joints & remixes) and the Prince Paul GOLD DUST album from ‘05 as it included 3 unreleased Gravediggaz joints. I also included the very first joint the Gravediggaz ever recorded which happened to be the day they all met at Prince Paul’s house in Long Island towards the end of ‘91. Got that joint off Prince Paul’s Soundcloud page. What’s also crazy about this album is it was recorded in ‘92/93 (before and during the recording of Wu-Tang Clan’s “36 Chambers”). Enjoy...
It features him rhyming back-to-back with Rhyme Va-Lor (who you might know from his work with Horror City and DJ Stitches, which has been reissued by Chopped Herring and Dope Folks). This track came from a compilation that was released in 2007 (posthumously for Po) and appears to be one of his final recordings.
