Sort of an ambitious project but with the help of Discogs I'm attempting to compile a comprehensive playlist of hip hop singles released from '90-'99.

At first I was using Wikipedia discographies but Discogs seems to have more accurate/complete info. Obviously Spotify doesn't have everything so some artists are missing or incomplete. I know it will be near impossible to get everything, as I'm sure there are hundreds of songs I'm not even familiar with but I'm trying to include as many notable/established artists I can think of. I'm on the fence as whether to include all b-sides (so far I've been including them if the b-side track was included in the title of the single on their discography).

Just doing this for personal music discovery as well as compiling a go-to playlist for that 90s hip hop fix.

Good idea, I look forward to seeing the results of your playlist. If you can find what your looking for I feel it's a better option for sound quality than YouTube, although YouTube I feel is much more likely to have the 90's gems in abundance.

I've gone from A-Z for all the artists I'm either familiar with or could think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are tons missing but I think this is a pretty good start. I'll continue to update the playlist as I think of/discover more.

Been expanding the playlist w/ remixes and b-sides that were included on singles (somewhat limited by Spotify's selection). Please post up anything that should be added.
