Episode 1

The Return of The Philaflava Show (sorta). 90 minutes total featuring music by Gang Starr, Ka, Apathy, Kool G. Rap, Ryu, Meyhem Lauren, Ras Kass, The Beatnuts and much more.

I'll update this thread once the podcast is available on iTunes as well in the next day or so. For now, Soundcloud and Youtube are the options. I appreciate any support you can show and welcome feedback, good or bad. Check it out if you enjoy good music and some good laughs.

Overall, pretty good show and it's put together very well. DJ 360 sounds the best and most natural. The song selection is on point (except that wack KA joint). I will say that the overall quality and sound of the show could use some tweaking. Listening in my car I literally had to crank the volume up to 22 when I normally can keep it around 12, and the music itself just didn't sound as FULL as it should (play only Vinyl perhaps? haha jk). Granted most people will probably just listen on their phones with earbuds where the sound quality doesn't matter as much. And you guys went WAY OVERBOARD with those sound bites. Whatever though.

And sorry, but I don't think Andre 3000 is or could ever be "The Voice Of HipHop". C'mon. "The Voice Of HipHop" needs to be someone who embodies the Culture as a WHOLE!! LOL at Action Bronson though. He's not even really HipHop to me anymore, he's more of an Entertainer. And I did like him from late 2009 up until 2012 or so, but since then I've had a harder time taking him serious when it comes to HipHop, not to mention he's been hit or miss since then (mostly miss unfortunately). The new DURAG joint produced by Knxledge is dope though! And yes, Prince Paul is the fuckin man!!

Agreed with Wicked, great way to rep Phila Flava-style in radio show format, I'm looking forward to more.

Next show or in the future, how 'bout doing a live commentary of my Turn Up The Fuckin' Bass compilation with call-ins by the Phila Flava community!
