Nas' "Lost Tapes" just celebrated it's 15 year anniversary, and Mass Appeal did a couple of articles related to it. Worth reading, as there is a bit of info in there that I never heard before. Nas does mention that he still intends to release Lost Tapes 2, but not until after he drops his next album...
ya man I read those too. Good read. Always cool to read about the making of an album. Looking forward to another Nas album as well as Lost Tapes 2!!!

he's been promising LT2 for about 10 years now. Thing is, whereas the tracks on the first one had mostly only been available on bootleg vinyl/CD/cassette, I'd imagine a lot of what would be intended for Vol 2 has already been available on mp3 one way or another.
On the Nas tip, the new Its Overture mix is worth a listen
