I like these type of threads, this is the type of Hip Hop I listen to all the time, anything that is overlooked and underrated always appeals to me. As far as under-appreciated artists and songs go I would choose these four:

No more Sasso. Now everybody call me Ron!

Hey man, I listen to Grand Puba all the time, I barely listen to Tupac or Jay-z, maybe a couple times a month, but there is no way Grand Puba is a better MC than Pac and Jay. Listen to Reasonable Doubt and All Eyez On Me..........THEN go listen to Grand Puba's 2000 album and tell me he was a better MC. Pac and Jay were just on another level compared to Puba.
Prepare yourself now for the six man wedding!

He seems to have a strange obsession with chicken

I think I might find his catalog more entertaining and enjoyable than pac/jay, though. Was just listening to 2000 the other day. I do remember when it came out, it wasn't anything special. I Like It and A Little of This got a lot more play than almost anything 2pac has ever done.

we can agree to disagree on jay...i prefer puba but totally get someone going with jay....but tupac was pure garbage and deserved to die

puba was downright nasty like diet coke
