If you had to select from just these 3.

Extremely difficult, but I'd go with KRS at gunpoint.

Shit...

If only BDK didn't have as many painfully wack songs as he does to stand up to his classics. No one can rip a hype track like him. Rakim may be more polished, but Kane can murk a fast beat like  ...

That, said I went with Ra...but this changes almost daily for me...

I've always been a slightly bit more partial to G-Rap over Ra. But Ra gets my vote.

it'd be nice if ppl all posted who they voted for in these polls .. there ain't a slug that you have to be embarrassed to vote for in this poll .. these would be more interesting if you knew where everyone stood

Big Daddy Kane seems to be a much greater influence on the "lyrical lyricists" of today.

the R... cause that's the way that it has to be.

good point about Big Daddy's inconsistency.

would anyone's vote change if the only material considered was their absolute best available .. ignoring all the inconsistent/wack stuff?

it would be closer to even in my mind then and more difficult a decision

I'm one of the few that voted for Kane, so it seems.

I've always been partial to his styles, though.
