I'll go on the record and say i never liked Do You Want More?
Ever
i got it when it came out, didnt like it... and every year or so someone mentions it as their all time favorite and I go back to listen to it, and come to the same conclusion... i still dont understand its appeal...
I always liked their singles because i always thought they "remixed" songs better then the originals

Matter of fact, check Cleanhobo's for sale list on Half.com. I got it going for pretty cheap right now.

It's an out of print No Limit Records original. I've gotten forty dollars for the same cd, only difference is, that time I only had the cd in a slim cd-r case; no liner notes or case.Combo7 wrote:CH, who is Tre-8 and why do you think you can get $80 for his album? Is he some kind of Bay Area hero?
To be honest, the cd sucks; only about two worthwhile songs. But as you know, people can be very fuckin' stupid.

as a rapper, i listen to the albums for black thought alone...his technical mastery is worth it
LYRICAL MIRACLE SPHERICAL EMPIRICAL SATIRICAL UMBILICAL!!!!!
Deep shit, son.
In any event, obviously Brand Nubian wins this.

god forbid i enjoy something
p.s. there is such a thing as being technically gifted as a rapper...i don't see the fault in admiring those who have such gifts
AND UMBILICAL DOES NOT RHYME WITH LYRICAL MIRACLE SPHERICAL EMPIRICAL SATIRICAL

It's definitely a vague term, but to be honest, if the best compliment someone can give to an MC is that he's "technically tubular," I'll always take that as a euphemism for saying "there's nothing redeeming about his style."SoulClap wrote:I always hear from peeps about how good he is "technically". How do you judge something like that? Personally, son bores the shit out of me on the mic.reason is yellow wrote:his technical mastery is worth it

never off-beat, knows how to ride the beat, but is versatile enough to fuck with the syncopated flow on occasion, has a great, clear voice, does multis without sounding forced/doesn't have too many words/syllables in one line, crisp delivery, no slurring...etc...SoulClap wrote:reason is yellow wrote:I always hear from peeps about how good he is "technically".
