The title track is fucking bonkers and, not that it has anything to do with anything, that's one of the dopest album covers...

Soul On Ice is a really good album, but I always felt it was overrated.

No Need For Alarm is a near-classic, in my mind.

Beats- NNFA>>SOI

Lyrics- NNFA=SOI

the production is always debatable on SOI (me personally I thought the beats were dope) but as far as saying Del had better rhymes than Ras.....nigga please. Oh yeah i pick Soul On Ice since i can't do a tie.

RAS KASS - del is a dope lyricist, and the beats probably are doper on No Need For Alarm, but Ras Kass slaughters Del as far as lyricism goes. I have to say that Soul On Ice is definitely "classic" in my book. \

While No Need has several of my favorite all time songs, as a whole it's somewhat dead. I prefer to listen to his debut, even though I know it's inferior. Soul on Ice has obvious beat flaws, but I still dig it over NNFA
because Ras Kass is such a monster on every song.

yeah i mean ras has immense vocal content but to me nnfa just blends better and each song is different. both but have made impact in history. i think people have forgotten how ill del used to be with everything he us putting out now
