This video gives me the chills everytime I see it. It features Rakim, Krs-1, Erick Sermon, Chucb Rock & MC Search passing the mic.

I'll upload part 2 tomorrow for you.

I've only had this since last night and I've watched it about 15 times already. The highlight for me is definitely chubb rock, something about the way he looks so strange and is barely moving but is absolutely just killing it on his verse...

It's nice to know that MTV's coverage of Hip Hop used to be so good, and at least we can say that they went out with a bang.

i love the way all the mcs look at whitey like he's, um, white. even though he's killing his verse.

I noticed that, shit was hilarious. Serch did a pretty good job though I was impressed.

who cares if its written.

"i'm known to rock a party and turn the party out"

and that's what it's all about.

I sort of assumed most of them were written, including Rakim's.

respect to this. I cant even fathom this in 05. Everyone killed it, though Mack and Serch were a little weaker then the rest. I can't remember the last time Redman sounded that *Raw*. . This is so dope, history fo sure. It's phat hearing the evolution of styles as it moved from RAkim/KRS through Chubb, Meth, and Red. Extra P! . And the crowd, YO YO, Salt, RAmpage, etc. At least there was the appearance of Hip Hop unity back then. I can't even think of the contemporaries of rap today all getting down like this, let alone all getting down and spittin FIRE. This has made my rainy day.
