Southern and Bay Area slept on classic...."Would you take a bullet 4 yo homie" is one of my favorites junts ever!!! This album was when TRU was deep as fuck they had King George , Master P, Big Ed, C-Murder, Silkk (before his rhymes sounded like a broke CD), and Mr. Serv-On....They had the O.G. version of Bout It Bout It on there......niggaz in the Bay laced him with game and then Master P stole that shit (i.e. Luniz's Ice cream Truck and E-40's dances) and made a mil off of that shit....but other than that i love this album I was bumpin' it last week it's some good shit to ride to...it's more geared toward the Bay type shit which got me into other shit like San Quinn and JT (who produced a track on Master P's first album)...solid album nothing but gangsta shit if you're looking for some lyrically lyrical shit turn the other damn way...this is all about head-bustin' and wig splittin'.

haha, king george, now theres a name i havent heard in a long ass time, that dude put out a double cd mixtape kind of thing after parting from master p and it had some of the cheesiest graphics in the book i have ever seen. ice cream man and the two disc tru album are the only two albums from that crew i care about owning.

both of these albums are top notch in my opinion...
i'd say i'd go pull them out and listen to them tonight, but it's probably better that i left them to memory...
then again, hearing, 'this is how we break bread' would probably set me off...
from the age of me picking albums according to how loud the 4 12's could hit in the trunk...

This album got a lot more hate back when I started this same thread

I liked Ghetto D...ackbar wrote:- i would never group "bay area & southern" into one genre
- although a proven snake & biter...p had NASTY rhymes for years (until ghetto d)
- beats by the pound are way too slept on. prolly because of the way no limit fell. klc delivers heat to this day...with little/no props.
