granted this is outside of the golden era, but I think we can compile a nice mix in T.R.O.Y.

I want to get together a bunch of Kane's more recent mp3s and shit, and compile a mix... I'll put it together or somebody else can... I've got a couple joints I'll upload right now...

The Man:The Icon (produced by Alchemist... somebody should hook up the full version of this track... this is just the first couple verses Tony Touch put on a mixtape)...

"Platinum Plus," that solo joint off the second Eastern Conference Comp, that joint with him and Checkmark, "Any Type of Way" (produced by Premier), "A Day At the Races" (Jurassic 5 ft. Percee P & Big Daddy Kane), etc... he's actually got quite a bit a material since Vets day... enough for a pretty solid mix I think... anyway... if this works I think we'll have to do it for different artists... thought I'd see what kind of responses I get...

I have a couple of tracks somewhere that were intended for the album 'Kane was gonna drop on Landspeed
both produced by D.J Scratch and both dope
one is a straight foward banger
and the other has an indian music sample that was all the rage at the time
"so addictive" etc.

thanks, but could you upload this in an mp3? I don't know how to convert WMA into something I could mix in a session with mp3s... it would help if we just kept to the mp3 format...

thanks for hot shit in advance... yeah I was thinking of doing a vinyl rip myself if I can't come up with anything... I don't want "toca" over this shit... there's also a third verse on the vinyl I've never seen online "if rapper spit? then shit I'ma vomit" (something like that) is the line I always listen for and never hear on mp3 versions... But I heard there is a full version of "The Man: The Icon" on Babu's "Duck Season" album? somebody has to have that shit...

I had both the vinyl version and "Duck Season" version a long time ago but i deleted them cause it didn't have the guitar sample in beginning like the Tony Touch joint. Ima see if I can find both again.
