(90-92)

I could only add so much, so please choose from the list provided. Pick your album and state the reason why.

This may be one of the hardest decisions of your life, so take your time and choose wisely. :killacam:

There is only 1 vote so far and it's for ATCQ. You gotta select your pick and hit submit.

This poll looked tough at the jump, then I saw Low End. Definitely my favorite from the early 90's.

If I could change my vote right now.....I would. I didn't even notice that on there. With that there..it would've taken me no time to figure out.
I guess I was just too overwhelmed.

JASON, take off the Black Sheep vote and let me re-vote. I live close to Florida.

tribe #1...contains an innocence and a true native tongue vibe that their other albums dont...in fact it was the last kosher native tongue album ever released...

expound

it was the last to contain the true vibe that jungle brothers were looking for when they formed the tongues...with all the members in the studio full time for its recording...you can hear the chants thruout in the background...had the same feel as done by the forces of nature in that you could just feel how much they enjoyed making the record before industry rule number 4080 and crew beefs ect...changed the game

it has all that made the 80's native tongue albums special with superiors music...where as the albums prior had the vibe but not as good a product (tho many will disagree with me on that re: 3 feet high) and the albums after while maybe better musically...did not contain the vibe

i had a hard choice between low end theory, amerikas most wanted, and fear of a black planet

i took fear of a black planet because its one of the only albums that i feel could be released today and still sound current

the bomb squad were on some 2030 beat trip, and i dont think any album has matched their innovation in production. its just such a well done album

I went for A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. I've probably listened to that literally a thousand times.

I was going to choose Main Source untill I noticed that the first Tribe was on there. That's unquestionably my favorite album from that time period. word to clark bent, the vibe alone makes it superior.

I'm a go against the grain a little and say "In God We Trust", it had the biggest impact (among this selection) on my perception of hip hop.
