surprised to see i was the first to vote for com

even though i don't really think about his other albums anything like i do about resurrection... com wins this for me... in my 22 tedious years this record has filled the void more than any other, if for no other reason than it was the only tape in my car for a solid 3 years... so it gets the vote based on number of listens alone... a criteria as applicable as any when choosing one record from such a solid list...

Its not even fair to have Illmatic in this. Its one of the 3 greatest rap albums EVER.

Torn between Illmatic and 36 Chambers. Had to vote for Nas in the end.

starts with "Ghostface, catch the blast of a hype verse"

ends with "nigga's seeing pink hearts, yellow moons, orange stars, and green clovers"
When people think of Providence, Rhode Island they typically think of organized crime

damn, LOTUG album is the only one I haven't heard yet. I don't think I plan to judging from the responses in this thread.

You should man. It's a very dope album, just not in the same league as most of the other albums on the list.

Illmatic's the personal pick (hard to go against). But it's just not right that Ready to Die has only one vote, so that's what I'm going with.
