That doesn't get talked about because it came out in a year where Hip-Hop dropped some of the finest material and the other "pro-black" classic we rocked was "One For All."

This album knocks from front to back. The samples were brilliant and gave producers like Dr. Dre a reason to start redoing Clinton all over again.

Brother J is a top 50 emcee and his flow and voice on this album was unforgetable.

incredible record. it still gets played.

shit does sound a little dated today. almost like this shit was recorded two years before it dropped.

I think it's overrated
on this board especially
it's not a bad album but it used a lot of already well-used samples
and Brother J has a silly voice
nowhere near being classic.

Not sure I agree with that....I did enjoy the album for the most part, even if it was a little militant for this pale English boy.

This is one of those albums that I always hear about, but have never heard/seen in stores. In my quest to rid the new jack from my soul is it possible someone could upload this here or provide me a place to buy it?
thanks.

word up i used to love this album... shit was hot no doubt but now i couldn't tell you the name of one song on the album, LOL.

I lost the tape though, bout that bitch the week it came out. I remember getting the issue of Rap Pages with them in it, they mighta had the cover if im not mistaken...

Poor Righteous Teachers & Jungle Brothers was always better to me tho.
