The ones worth owning are 'We Can't Be Stopped', 'Grip It...' or 'Geto Boys' (pretty much the same as 'Grip It...', except Rick Rubin tweaked some stuff on the album) and 'Till Death Do Us Part'.
Surprisingly, both 'Best Of' albums are very good; especially if you own them both. 'Uncut Dope' covers their earlier years, while 'Greatest Hits' spans pretty much their entire career (minus their brand new stuff, of course). The new 'Greatest Hits' even has the option of a DVD with live tracks and stuff.
My favorite: Probably 'We Can't Be Stopped,' but this was a hard choice; a very hard choice.

The original version of "grip it.." is the best thing they ever did
the o.g D.J Ready Red produced version of "gangster of love", that got switched up due to not being able to clear the sample, shits on the Rick Rubin version and is the reason "grip it.." is the version you need to own
i'm not sure if it's easily available anymore though and i believe it goes for $50 minimum these days.
"We can't be stopped" comes next and "till death do us part" comes after that.
Solo-wise, you need "goin' out like a soldier" by Willie D, "mr. scarface is back" plus "the diary" by Scarface and "lil' big man" by Bushwick Bill.

Opinions.
For me, it's Makin' Trouble because of the sentimental value attached to my childhood. But get everything from The Resurrection on back. The only Scarface solo I don't like is The Diary.
Now, if U listen, I'mma tell ya'.

second Gen - DJ Akshun (Scarface) , Bushwick Bill, Reddy Red, Willie D

Actually...
The 1st generation was Raheem, K-9, and Jukebox. I think Lil J's younger brother was also apart of the group back around '85.Galvatron78 wrote:Look got-damnit I'm gonna upload Grip It...and lemme say the Geto Boys I think hold the record for most-switched up-group members along with the X-men in hiphop

After that, it was Johnny C, Red, Jukebox, and Bushwick as a dancer.
