Special Ed was great

Post by Magneto »

Now I'm biased cause I used to see him almost every day of my life, but to me he's one of the best rappers from the late 80s early 90s.

Plenty of classic tracks, good lyricist, and just an entertaining MC.

Im special ed, and yes, Im takin it all
The school that I attend is ersamus hall
Live in flatbush
, yes, Im on
No, Im not a god, but my word is bond
I got the knowledge, wisdom, understandin
Not fussy, but demandin
No, Im wise, understand
Mess with me, I break your hand
Stop your heart, take your breath
With the diagnose of death
Remove your brain from your skull

Puffy might be drippin' in ice but Special Ed had a frog and a dog with a solid gold bone
not to mention all those honda scooters.

I always dug his wordplay.

Special Ed top 5 !

1. Freaky flow D.J Premier remix.

2. Taxing.

3. I got it made.

4. I'm the magnificent.

5. Mission.

"Freaky flow" remix really is the shit, isn't it..?

I've never heard "revelations"
is it worth owning..?
i recall someone telling me he rips the album but the production is kinda eh for the most part.

Bah, I'll up Revelations here in a day or two.

I bought it off the strength of Neva Go Back, but I can't fuck with it.

I tried to ebay it, but apparently, nobody wants it.

Props Rey
fuck it, if it's got 3 good songs on it and this "neva go back" is as good as you two say then it'll be worth it.

I've got the other 12" from this album, "lyrics"
the Buckwild remix is ridiculously stankin'.

i like revelations

he completely switched his style up tho, so if you are expecting youngest in charge Ed then forget it

its still dope, just different....

ps. anyone ever remember the rumor surrounding his hand from back in the day... the rumor being that he was missing a hand (if you look at the photos on youngest in charge it looks like he purposefully is hiding his "hand")... best rumor since bdk had aids

If you're being sarcastic, I'm hurt.. But will recover following a pepperoni Hot Pocket..

Everyone pretty much hit on the Special Ed jewels, so no need for my top 5..

My all time fave Ed joint has to be "I'm The Magnificent" .. Many moons before any of us new what a Missy Elliot would be, I was a wee lil' Diggedy trying to recite the "put it in reverse" part..

Was that Ed getting in the car with that chick in Juice?

On MTV's last show, you have to give it up for Ed. He wrecked during the freestyle.
