Different Runaway Slave covers?

I picked up a second copy (cd) of this at a used store the other day, and it's got a different cover. Was this a re-issue (it has the exact same track listing)? Would this still go for $88 on half.com?

edit: meant to put the cover with the border on the bottom...

Keep in mind that because one copy's listed for $88 doesn't ensure it's ever going to sell for $88. Half and Amazon typically have very inflated prices for rare albums. The actual market value is around $40-60, which is still good.

The original vinyl release came on one plate and the re-release was a double LP... I don't know about the cover, though. I'm almost certain they came out around the same time in '92.

The original CD release is mos def the one with orange borders, though.

yeah we dont need to be fightin over fuckin album covers....the album is a classic piece of hip hop

but, for the record....i bought the cassette like the day it dropped...and it has the No border cover....bought 2 years later i finally picked up the Cd and the cd had the border.....so who knows, i assumed the no border was original because of the tape....maybe they make tapes and cd's differently
