you knew you were going to be stuck on a desert island (like suvivor) and you were ONLY allowed to bring just 3 CD's with you for your 4 month duration. which 3 cd's would you bring. now, here is the catch...

you have to choose the three from the list below. remember, even if you don't like the cd, you may after repetition and you MUST choose 3 CD's. so choose wisely

nas - illmatic
gang starr - moment of truth
talib kweli - equality

the roots - do you want more??!!??!
de la soul - buhloone mind state
eminem - the marshal mathers show

freestyle fellowship - innercity griots

Here's my 3:
"The Low End Theory" - A Tribe Called Quest

Damn, if you made it 5 I would've also picked:
"Get In Whaere Ya Fit In" - Too Short
"Blueprint 2" - Jay-Z
"tim dog! i hope he's scamming bitches in heaven.." - EichTurner

Considering those are my three favorite and most listened to rap cds, this was an extremely easy decision.

You put enough good albums on there I dont' get where torture is coming from, maybe i'm dumb. I like every album on the list except the benzino one which I haven't heard.

I wish I could take Enta Da Stage too.

I'd pick this because it's a dope album that I have barely listened to in ten years, so it might survive more spins.
ice cube - amerikkka's most wanted
My favorite rap album, ever. I haven't gotten tired of it yet.
main source - breaking atoms
A no-brainer.

i'd take something three that're all different styles.

main source - breaking atoms (i wouldn't take pete rock and cl cause large pro and pete rock are on the same tip as far as producing goes)

amerikka's most wanted

and either

redman - dare iz a darkside (because if i were to be stranded on any island, i'd bring funkadelic's "maggot brain" with me. and in this list, redman's the closest thing to funkadelic)

or the album I grew up with black moon's "enta da stage"
