Jungle Brothers - "Brain" Appreciation (video lin

Post by Nacho Vidal »

Just an all-round great song. Dope-ass beat that captures that Jay-dee, Beats,Rhymes & Life sound probably better than any song on that album. Smooth flows by all emcees involved. But the chorus is what really gets stuck in your head.

Copped the cassette-single version of this in Miami around '97, along with the "Mo' Money Mo' Problems" single. I was 14 years old and it was my first trip to the U.S.and.A. I wish most rap still sounded like this.

If ANYONE has this original version of the song, please :upload:

I have the Beatminerz remix if anyone wants it, though it's not as good.

Good to know. I wasn't implying that Jay Dee did produce it. Just saying it captured that vibe/sound I associate with his work.
