Decisions, decisions... to quote Biggie...

It's soooooo haaaaaard!

Brooklyn Zoo is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite albums.

Gimmie Da Loot is also a masterpiece.

I need to meditate on this one.

Is there any uncensored versions by the way?

Yeah, but going back to my number one rule about these kinds of tourneys- timelessness.

Biggie's joint, to me, sounds dated.

ODB's shit is timeless. That shit could come out tomorrow and I'd still jock it the way I did in 1995.

Biggie's joint, not so much.

Also, ODB's joint has a classic video to go with it- my favorite hip hop video of all time.

Tough call, but I'm rolling with Dirty on this one.

Brooklyn Zoo is 10/10, Gimmie Da Loot is 9.5/10 due to it being somewhat dated to me.

Brooklyn Zoo...

People always loved Gimme Da Loot, and it is a brilliantly executed masterpiece, but it's not even one of my favorite joints on that album honestly.

Had it been "Suicidal Thoughts," "Ready to Die," or "The What?" I would've voted for Big. And as dope as "Brooklyn Zoo" is, I probably prefer "Shimmy Shimmy Ya."

Not one of my favorite BIG tracks off Ready to Die

Machine Gun Funk, Ready to DIe, Suicidal Thoughts, The What, Juicy all rank higher

Brooklyn Zoo

The Biggie joint should've been one of his singles and, like i said, that single should've been "Hypnotize" which is, hands down, thee best club track fuckin' ever.

"Get Money" should've been in this tournament too. Partly because it's a classic and partly because i'm just listening to it right this second and the you heard about me the fake i.d, cases in Virginia, body in DC part has me trying to come up with a Ithithkle related play on Biggie's verse. So far i have :

You heard about me and how i used to pretend to be a black netcee
live in rural Virginia, on the internet i say i'm a journalist from DC

and

Kick in the door waving the longboard
all you heard was "please put some of my black & white pictures of sad faced moolies in front of broken gas pumps on your wall"

"Brooklyn Zoo" is raw, hillarious, anthemic, and timeless.

Gimmie The Loot may be the best performance ever by an emcee.
Atleast to me. Shame it's out in the first round.
The beat is dated, but Biggie is still phenomenal.

"Brooklyn Zoo" is hard as fuck.

"Gimme The Loot" is cornball fantasy shit for necrophiliac nostalgia-fags and reformed wiggers.

biggie's performance on gimme the loot is of the hook, but i don't think this song is top5 biggie material and that says a lot.

'Gimme The Loot', fairly easily. Both are stone cold anthems, but I listen to Biggie's a lot more.
