Drums are fuckin crackin on this shit here.
I don't even think Finesse had to layer anything over them.
Can't really tell cause it's sped up, though.
It sounds like he may have added a little something to make the snares
"snap" more. But not much else.

Just heard it again on the beat I Need the Street (Pernety Blues) from french beatmaker Quetzal's last album called Vision

I dunno, it's sounds like this guy made another beat out of one of those
joints from Marvin Gaye's TroubleMan OST.
If so, the horns have been used for a bunch of stuff, mostly late 80's, early 90's hip hop.
He hooked it up prettys nice, though. Sounds like he slowed it down some.

I love pretty much ALL Bobbi Humphrey's albums.
She's the bomb. The drums from that Amp Boogie I'm pretty sure
are from a Little Richard break. I had it on a break comp record and still
have it in my MPC. I also believe they're the same drums that Godfather
Don used for "7 Degrees Of Elevation" and for a pretty known Mobb Deep
song. Maybe "Temperatures Rising?" And countless other songs also used
those drums. I gotta dig them up for yall.
