I've asked before but does anybody know the film being sampled during the end of The Enemy / first two tracks of General Patton vs. The X-ecutioners?

It's all good man, no one seems to know.

Hopefully these are easier: Does anyone know the All Black sample with someone laughing at the end? (four minutes in):

<object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0U1UN4P9Mnw?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0U1UN4P9Mnw?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Or the "uh cג€™mon..." intro sample in Street Struck, before James Brown's "yeah!" from My Thang.

Or the what from "they don't give a what" sample (just over a minute and ten in) in Street Struck:

<object width="480" height="360"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cwff61MTOUo?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cwff61MTOUo?ve ... n_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="480" height="360" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

'cause I think those three are the last vocal samples I'm missing from Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous.

Still searching, their is an Average White Band-"Schoolboy Crush" sample but that is not the drums, this baffles me, even well known diggers are scratching their heads...it's kind of odd really...someone out there must know.

DOH!!!!

One of my first choices and all this time it was staring me in the face haha, IT IS Lonnie Liston Smith-"Spinning Wheel".:D:D:D...the pitch has been changed and the beat has been heavily compressed, E-Swift added the AWB bells...

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6qnB-O76xv0?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6qnB-O76xv0?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

and both Krispy 3 and Funkdoobiest sampled from Tha Alkaholiks "Can't Tell Me s***"

Which section though? 4:55 or later?

<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/JwBEwLPaiYg?ve ... ram><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/JwBEwLPaiYg?version=3&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

It's just the vocal sample I'm looking for, unless the beat is from the same track.

One of my favorite flute samples, seems like that instrument hasn't been used as much in a memorable way since the early 90's.

A few of my other favorite flutes are Holy Are You by Electric Prunes, Little Green Apples by Monk Higgins, What A Night by Hubert Laws and "Air Born" by Camel.

yeah, nothing like a dope flute sample. That Camel shit is superb, thanks, i don't remember hearing that joint before. Herbie Mann had a few and I remember there was a couple off some Dusty Fingers volumes that were pretty great.

If you remember more feel free to make a flute compilation of Hip Hop songs J-Selectah-style Verge, I'd like to see one of those.

Image

Symphonette is one of my top favorites too, used by Large Pro on Kool and the David Newman album is great from front to back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8b6-TdGllc

One aspect of The Beatnuts contribution to Hip Hop that goes underrated is their use of flutes. That's part of the personality behind their production that stands out in my mind over the years, from Magic Chef by Rawcotiks, Off The Books, Puffin On A Cloud, Story and others.

Nice recent find by DJ Prestige of Flea Market Funk. The sample for Turn It Out by The Beatnuts is actually a chop from some corny kitsch record! The Beatnuts really flipped some weird shit in their time..

This sounds right but I can't tell where the sample would be at. Ant obviously used a clean flute part but it doesn't quite match up.

Anyone know the samples for 'AZ's Behind This' from the Gold.Oil.Diamonds release? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ha3oC5t-bo Either the beat or the vocal / interpolation. They sound very familiar but I still have no idea.
