looks like it was released a year before. but it's pretty much the same comp, except this has some dancehall reggae versions, instead of hiphop-reggae

Hey Jaz...I wanted those too. I know this girl around my way who is selling these, but since I've been out of work for awhile, I don't have the cash to buy them. If you're interested in buying them, let me know and I can pass you her contact info. She's got a pretty good collection

Boom Shak A Tack CDS
http://www.discogs.com/Born-Jamericans- ... se/1240362

Yardcore CDS
http://www.discogs.com/Born-Jamericans- ... se/1811234

p.s. She's also selling that Kenny Dope 'Unreleased Project' that you wanted on CD too (she has the RARE German version with the extra bonus tracks too)

Jaz, you had mentioned that you were looking for this track (which I had never heard of before). A friend of mine kindly ripped it for me, so I thought I'd post it up here for the Phila fam. This one is more on the commercial/R&B sounding vibe...

Shaka - As Salaam Alaikum (3 Boyz Radio Mix)

Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/8m89qner7j6keym/unknown_92.mp3

I used to have this 12" but the name and artist just escapes me...I am thinking...Kenny Dope, Nubian Crackers or something on Weeded or Wreck records.

It's Nubian Crackers "Gotta Make a Living (Tight Punani Mix)". I also had this on vinyl, but lost it. I see it here on iTunes though...I'll probably cop the album at some point when I can afford it.
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/nubi ... d204576217

FYI - i've finished phase #2 of my 90's reggae-hiphop mixtape, which is planning instrumentals to pair with acapellas (i had over 125 acapellas, which is why it's been taking me forever). Now I'm on phase #3 which is learning to make party breaks like the Nubian Crackers/Kenny Dope/Crooklyn Clan etc. I found a guy around my way who says he'll charge me $25 an hour to teach me how to do it on Ableton...I figure I'll be able to learn in 1 hour. Once I finish making a few party breaks, I'll be onto the final phase, which is recording.
