lol, i hear you bro
i just squeaked a pirated version of it onto my shitty dell laptop and she plays!!!! i'm so excited. i looked at the graphics options and every single setting is either LOW or OFF lol.
but who cares, i nerded out on the single player all weekend.
^^^ haha yeah. shit is sweet. but i can only sometimes see bullets or space balls or zerg needles/vomit. i just get to listen to them happen.
i like the campaign. very sweet. beat it. started playing through the SC 1 campaigns again.
oh balzac. the problem has to do with you killing the update process after the install. i have the razor version too and it took me a couple days to figure out what the fuck was the deal. my problem was lack of internet access.
--install
--let it update - it adds something that makes the game playable
--then run the wierd keytro thing and press f2 or f11 or whatever it is the instructions say - this doesnt effect the keytro but it does work so you dont have to watch that whole thing just esc out of that
--then do that one other thing i think it requires you to do - maybe nothing, i forget
--then when youre ready to play the game be connected to the internet so that it can some sort of hidden verification process
--proceed to log in as a guest

i'm turning off my internet connection before launching every time i play regardless...just in case.
you might want to save the save file and then reinstall w/ updates because i guess some of the updates have to do with certain game triggers that wont allow the campaign to progress
