This used to be an Acclaim property, right? Now it's an EA Sports game. I'm doubting it will be very good. The sad thing is, I understand it is a Wii-only title, but when you look at it, this looks like it would be right at home on the XBox Live Marketplace or the Playstation Store, not a full-fledged release, no?Hayzoos wrote:This style of game was cool till NBA Street Vol. 2 came out and perfected it. It's really all been downhill since, however.

EA Sports has it now? I expect them to promise us Larry Holmes is in the game, only to have him not in the final version without a single mention or acknowledgement as to why.
They should do that with all their games and make it their thing. #bitter

i was a big fan of Street 2, mainly because they did the whole NBA Legends thing perfect. From the narrator, to the old film style when they profiled the legendary parks, to having legendary ballers complete with their signature moves. Street 3 was when i started hating the series. Players were doing butterfly kicks...Moolah wrote:Looks true to the original.
I must be the only one who thinks NBA Street (the first one) was the perfect arcade basketball game then. I thought street 2 was weak with the bouncing off head moves and counters and all that.

I never played Street 3, but I got Street 2 years after it came out and it's probably second only to NBA Jam and Arch Rivals as the most played basketball game of my life. I did find it funny that even on the PS2 version they deleted the like in 'The Choice is Yours' of "Black Sheep get play like a Sony Innovator."Kalistoga wrote:i was a big fan of Street 2, mainly because they did the whole NBA Legends thing perfect.
