flac files into itunes>?

every other site has a different software to download to do this

can anyone recommend one that works?>

I use Winamp to convert it from flac to wav drop it in iTunes then convert to mp3.

Switch is free and works on both Windows and OS X: -

It will preserve the tags when you convert from one file type to another. If you want to retain the quality of FLAC while still keeping the file size small, you could convert to Apple Lossless, which iTunes of course supports, otherwise, if you're not bothered about losing quality you can go with MP3 or your compressed format of choice.
