so what extra stuff did they add? I saw an ad that had a new weapon that shot bolts of electricity and it said stuff about new costumes, I'm sure there's some other stuff too

yeah, supposedly the new weapon is specifically used to take out the palagas parasites, and the new costuems are like a Gansgter style suit for leon and a suit of Knight's armor for Ashley.

I'm pretty sure there's an entirely new singleplayer mode, I forget what it is though.

I wouldn't feel right playing it on PS2 after playing it on Gamecube for some reason.

Kinda like Lost, right?

This is one of the top ten games of the last ten years, man.

well, if this is, God of War must be #1 then.

Thats probably why I dont like this as much as a matter of fact. After GOW, everything else is ...well....stupid.

Am I the only one that thought god of war was boring? I thought it was repetitive and stupid.

^ Probably.

Both God of War and Resident Evil 4 are incredible.

I've been pretty busy as of late, and I haven't been able to play games too much, but work has started to slow down and I finally got to play RE4 for the first time (for my PS2).
I'm about 7 hours in and I'm blown away. It's such an incredible experience. The voice acting is kinda lame so far, but everything is top notch. I never saw RE4 on the Gamecube (in person) so I can't really compare. That's probably a good thing.
The controls, level design, weapons, graphics, A.I., difficulty...everything...is amazing.

The best part is you still have a good 10-15 more hours of playtime when you're 7 hours in.

I rented the PS2 version a few nights ago and, after playing both versions, the Gamecube one is better. GC RE4 looks a little better and controls a LOT better, but that might be because I was using my friend's shitty controller.

I can't imagine playing this on anything but GameCube.

But I'm glad others are getting to experience how fucking sweet this game is.

RE5 will be an unstoppable force of awesomeness.
