ah, we have nearly the same computer. are those golden dragon ram chips (those are made by geil, right)? i should be getting a sound blaster zs soon. does your abit motherboard have onboard sound problems?

My ram isn't Geil golden dragon but it's a step below it. Even so they look really cool (like a suit of copper armor around the chip) and perform real ly well. I bought my sound card with the rest of my parts, so I never bothered with onboard sound. I heard that it can give problems and performance issues though, especially in games.

yea, the golden dragon has carvings in it. haha. mine has a copper heat spreader as well. the ram weight a shitload, more than youd expect.
i was just wondering about your sound because the ic7g has sounds problems.
