thats one of the many things i like about it too. they've really cracked down on internet usage at my work, but i am allowed to have email open. so since i can sign into gmail, g+ is fully integrated. it's nice. i had my first "hangout" yesterday. was kinda fun.noshadesofgrey wrote:This is just so easy. I'm already logged into my Gmail all day, so this isn't inconvenient at all.
I don't understand why anyone not using gmail would want to use this. It makes the experience that much better.malpractice wrote:thats one of the many things i like about it too. they've really cracked down on internet usage at my work, but i am allowed to have email open. so since i can sign into gmail, g+ is fully integrated. it's nice. i had my first "hangout" yesterday. was kinda fun.noshadesofgrey wrote:This is just so easy. I tried the hangout feature tonight. I thought it was great. It was just with one person, but I'd love to see how it is with a group.

we had 4 people, and there was a bit of trouble with people talking over one another because of the delay, but it was still neat.Dan wrote:I don't understand why anyone not using gmail would want to use this. I've met a handful of people on the internet....enough for me to realize that having hangups about people on the internets is passe. This isn't the 90's where I think everyone I have met on the net is a serial killer into necrophilia in an AOL chat room.
I'd have this cracka TM over my place for some chicken massala, no doubt.

Re: Google+ Project
Google+ is 2 years old today. Has everyone here given up on it or are there still some users?
I gave up for several months but then came back. It has changed so much and added some really great features. I like it a lot. Twitter is still my favorite, but Google+ is nice, especially their Communities section. As I continue using Google+, I find myself using Facebook less and less.
As of January of this year, Google+ has surpassed Twitter in number of users, becoming the #2 social network behind Facebook.
Dust off your account and see if you like the changes that have taken place.

Re: Google+ Project
Most likely due to everyone who has gmail pretty much being forced to have a google+ profile.Dan wrote: As of January of this year, Google+ has surpassed Twitter in number of users, becoming the #2 social network behind Facebook.
Re: Google+ Project
i hate google now. used to be a time, when I could feel safe indulging in all sorts of nefarious activities on Youtube, knowing that it would never ever be traced back to me via my GMail / Google+ / Gravatar and what have you. but now, with google's new policies you can't keep any of these sites separate. i had the most retarded profile pic on Youtube, and it's only recently that I found out that it somehow ended up being my GMail profile pic as well. (mind you this is my professional GMail too).naturalborn103 wrote:Most likely due to everyone who has gmail pretty much being forced to have a google+ profile.Dan wrote: As of January of this year, Google+ has surpassed Twitter in number of users, becoming the #2 social network behind Facebook.
Google will always be Google, but I feel like it's time they had some new competiton. somebody who'll light a fire under their bums.

Re: Google+ Project
Deleted my account just the other day. More useless than Dids with a 12 inch cock.
Re: Google+ Project
It's worth keeping the account just for Hangouts. Group video chat and screen sharing. Just lock down your account and don't use it.
Re: Google+ Project
Hangouts has replaced Google Chat and looks like it'll also be replacing/incorporating Google Voice. Hopefully that means MMS will be coming soon.
