There's a game similar to pictionary but instead of drawing you use words as clues. It's much faster pace than pictionary and is pretty awesome.

Settlers of Catan is really great. Some of my other favorites are Power Grid, Ticket to Ride, Agricola and Star Wars Duels

me and a friend once lost as axis and as allies twice in an evening against other friends. If you've ever played this game you'll realize how brutal that is :)

I fucks with settlers of catan. There are a couple of extensions you can get for that for when you get bored of the og version. also fucks with agricola and got a new one called puerto rico that I haven't played but it looks interesting.

That is brutal and borderline impossible because that game takes insanely long to play sucks to be you that night

i defend myself to this day by blaming the special rolls.

if you are lucky enough to get super bombers quick enough (other team got them both times) you can pretty much steamroll the other team.

i've played sessions of A&A that last 8+ hours but ended up losing twice that night within 6 hours.

Pretty sure you are talking about Taboo

Favorite party game ever, especially because it comes with a really annoying little buzzer for when people say the forbidden words.

Cranium is my favorite board game.

Connect 4 is still a hood classic.

my friend has this game called Pictionary Man. it's pictionary, but you draw on this blank doll. Hilarity ensues.

Apples to Apples is also a fun game.

Taboo is the shit, great way to get quiet girls talking/break the ice with people you don't know.

While rather low brow compared to axis and allies, left right center is a great party game that involves gambling and is easy enough for women to play. Highly recommended, especially if it means you can avoid playing gayer drinking games.

a good call if that game is the game im also thinking about with the kitty in the middle and passing chips/money to players on either side? liars dice is also a good one and liars poker (involving the serial numbers on dollar bills) is also a great game

Yeah basically, you get 5 singles or something and the roll of the dice has you putting money in the pot, or passing it left/right.

It ends with someone taking down the whole pile. Good times.

Liars dice is great too.

best drinking games?

my vote = centurion
a hundred shots of beer in 100 minutes.

runner up = beer pong

I'm down with pong. There's a skill to it.

Anything where you're racing (flip cup) is wack to me.

Chandeliers is fun because if you're good you can get one person tanked in the first 15 minutes and then fuck them over with the big glass every time.

Fuck the dealer is cool, it's kind of like poker with the mind games.

Circle of death is cool if people are creative.

I'm a fan of watching sporting events and drinking every time you hear something. Works great with sox games and the phrases "he gone" and "can of corn"

I assume you're talking about Tommy's survivor flip cup which I'm curious about too.

If not I can explain the OG version which I think is dumb because I suck at it.
