Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Looks fucking amazing. There are many sources for info on this so just utilize google.

I must say, I am extremely amped. The game is undergoing an overhaul in terms of combat and menu system, but what is especially intriguing is the new engine and story execution. They are using something called 'Radiant Storytelling'.

Essentially, the world changes due to your choices and gameplay style. This means you will receive quests that no one else will as well as experience certain encounters that are completely unique. The graphics look fucking sick, too.

the combat and level systems needed revamping for sure and that radiant thing is any gamers wet dream. i hope they do it well. havent played since morrowind 3

I got the latest Game Informer that has a whole lot of info on this, Im pumped for it- better graphics (hated the faces), better dungeons (no more raiding th same dungeon in 7 different places, better enemies and better combat/ magic system. I didn't like Oblivion enough to finish it, I much preferred Morrowind.

found this really great youtube of a developer having phone conversation with dudes about game details, concepts and mechanics

the radiant storytelling mechanic sounds super baller, basically unless you do everything exactly the same you wont play exactly the same game on replays....ever.....im assuming you can recreate the game by doing the same exact things

shit just sounds so much better and conceptually/mechanically it sounds like they improved so much to make it a game that you want to progress through rather than a game where you want to create characters to do different stuff with

That's what I'm saying.

AT LEAST 300 hours of gameplay, 150 unique dungeons, the most detailed world in the history of games, even the menu system is amazing.

I realize that I'm a fanboy but this game just can't be denied.

Easily my most anticipated game of the year. Last few years, even.

This game looks fucking amazing, someone from the dev team was running thru the game on g4 the other day.

At one point dude was free roaming and came across giants walking with pet mammoths, then out of nowhere a fucking dragon scooped in and picked up one of the giants and rag dolled him 40 feet in the air.
